I Am Saved

Ruth 3.10 Then he said, “Blessed are you of the Lord, my daughter! For you have shown more kindness at the end than at the beginning, in that you did not go after young men, whether poor or rich.

When I am lost
In a desert sand
Finding suddenly found
By the touch of her hand

I am saved

In the wilderness
In the wild
All I need
Is to see her smile

And I am saved

In the rage beguiling
Of a crashing sea
Those stormy eyes
Capture me

And I am saved

In the calm of a solemn
Winter’s afternoon
She’s a summer flower
In a beautiful bloom

And I am saved

And in the dead of night
When I am caught in the sight
Of some unknown fright
And she holds me tight
I feel like a knight
In shining armor white
The darkness fills with light
And what went wrong goes right

And I am saved
